RGT’s operating team brings over 300+ years of collective business expertise and experience in the investment, leadership, management, employment of green technologies and exploration and development of mineral properties, including cost-effective practices in exploiting and processing of hard rock and placer settings. The team has a proven track-record in building local infrastructure, and restoration and protection of local environments.
MR. MICHAEL JOLL, ACSM
Specialist for Alluvial Deposits
Mr. Joll is experienced in the evaluation, extraction and processing of mineral resources, especially alluvial deposits. His international experience ranges across Australia, China, French Guyana, Ghana, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Laos, Liberia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda and Vietnam. Mr. Joll has successfully operated small scale mining operations in Malaysia, French Guyana, Indonesia, Guinea and Ghana.
Mr. Joll was the project manager in charge of the $5.5 million budget for the establishment of a gold dredging operation in Indonesia and was General Manager in India for the mining and processing of 50,000 mt/yr of industrial grade garnet, including upgrading operations to an acceptable standard (ISO 9002). He is experienced in the establishment of environmental controls with regard to mining operations, including post-operative rehabilitation work.
Mr. Joll’s responsibilities include the exploration and development of alluvial deposits.
MR. PETER GAN, ACMA, CGMA
Mine Accountant and Financial Controller
Mr. Gan is an experienced international accounting professional with an entrepreneurial flair. He is experienced in business start-ups and has successfully run his own businesses in Canada and the US, and also managed operations in the UK and in Southeast Asia, and North America.
Mr. Gan has acted as Financial Controller for several established companies in Malaysia and Canada. He was consultant to independent businesses in Canada. He has also successfully implemented measures to identify areas for cost and tax savings exercises for an auto parts company in North America, with improvements in efficiency saving the company over a million dollars a year. His strengths include his ability to function independently as well as on a team.
Mr. Gan’s responsibilities include overseeing accounting and budgeting of all financial activities.
MR. SOO YING CHOW, BSc
Mining Consultant
Mr. Soo is an experienced and highly qualified minerals engineer possessing a good management track record in many countries, including Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia and Brazil. He has extensive experience in alluvial and hard rock exploration for tin and gold, and is a Certified Competent Dredgemaster. Mr. Soo is currently building the world’s largest alluvial tin mine, located in Malaysia.
Mr. Soo is an excellent leader and motivator of people and enjoys mentoring fledgling professionals under his charge. He has proven entrepreneurial skills in many industries outside of mining, is well-travelled, and is highly adaptable to a variety of working conditions. Fluent in several languages, he has been involved in operations in a variety of countries and has been responsible for management and administration, mine planning and design, construction and operation of wash plants, and control and management of mine waste. Mr. Soo has successfully operated his own business, with associates in the UK, China, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Mr. Soo will assist management in mine planning and mine plant design.
DR. JEFF AUCOTT, BSc, PhD, FGS
Consultant Geologist
Dr. Aucott has over forty-five years of experience in exploration, mining and computer systems applied to the mining industry. A graduate of the Universities of Hull (Geology), Bristol (Geochemistry) and a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, he has worked in more than twenty countries within Central Asia, South East Asia, Russia, North and South America and Europe. He is presently based in the UK and Moscow.
His work has been conducted around the world, but he is currently specializing in the Russian and Philippine mining industry. His specialties include resource and geological evaluation, exploration geochemistry, drilling programs, mine and exploration databases and the organization of geological exploration and mining teams.
Other than independent consultancy of 20 years, he has also worked as Director for several projects for the British Overseas Government Development Agency in Latin America, Consultancy Manager for Datamine International UK, Resource Manager for Oxus Gold PLC (Central Asia) and as Exploration Director for a private exploration company.
Dr. Aucott will consult for the JV in exploration matters, from prospecting through to reserve statements. His extensive knowledge of South American geology, particularly of Colombia will be extremely useful. He is bilingual in Spanish and English and has contact knowledge of Russian.
